Distinctive Seating Design

Made with FormVlies, a Becker-Brakel material made from recycled plastic bottles, the concept chair is aimed to link two shells: one for the seat and another for the backrest, featuring ribbing that provided strength while also lending a visually distinctive and eye-catching appeal to the chair.

Sustainable Strength

The innovative use of FormVlies not only enhances the chair’s sustainability but also ensures a lightweight yet durable structure. The ribbing design, in addition to reinforcing the overall stability, contributes to the chair’s distinctive aesthetic while ensuring a solid and durable construction.

Awarded Design Showcase

The chair was presented at Interzum in Cologne - May 2023. The project was selected from over 500 entries for the Design Forum organized by Becker-Brakel.
