Circular, Donati, 2023

Circular is a concept chair prototype showcased at the 2023 Interzum Fair in Cologne. Designed for modern office and home environments, it emphasizes sustainability as a core principle. Circular’s reduced and sturdy construction enables it to cope with the demands of daily use.

Endless Aluminum Loop

Circular features a seat and base crafted from recycled aluminum. Aluminum is an exceptionally sustainable material,as it can be recycled endlessly without compromising its technical or mechanical properties.

Pure Recycled Comfort

The seat and backrest cushions are made from thermoformed polyester, including a soft core of polyester felt, instead of using PU foam, which is difficult to recycle. Covered in polyester fabric and supported by a molded polyester back, they are crafted from a single material with high recycled content, ensuring full and easy recyclability.

Ocean To Office

Circular comes with a versatile fabric made from SEAQUAL YARN, a unique polyester fiber crafted from upcycled marine plastic collected from oceans and beaches.

Flat - Pack, Less Impact

To minimize the environmental impact of transportation, the chair can be delivered flat-packed to the end user. Its simplified structure allows for quick assembly in just a few minutes, while significantly reducing the transportation volume.
