Pinzetta, Rosenthal, 2013Pinzetta is a product part of the Rosenthal Solitaire series dedicated to Christmas. Natural gestures, in particular how to blow out a candle, were analysed to develop this small interesting object made of polished stainless steel. The main idea was to replicate the extinguishing of a candle flame with fingers, trying to make the gesture more elegant. The name Pinzetta (tweezer in Italian) derives from the form given to the object to fulfil its function.
