TED, Agape, 2013The bathroom has changed over the years: from secondary and mostly functional, its role shifted to primary, vital and essential. Consequently, Ted, a practical tool designed for the Italian company Agape, tries to fulfill the need of a smart and flexible product in the bathroom, being able to adapt to the user’s need. Freestanding and always at hand, with shelf, towel rack and toilet roll holder, it combines two different materials: Exmar – white, warm, soft-touch, and polished stainless-steel – elegant, sturdy and functional. Its mechanism allows the shelf to both revolve and be adjustable in height, in order to complement washbasins, bathtubs, or sanitary ware, highlighting its multifaceted qualities.Awards: Young and Design Award – Special mention Salone del Mobile, Milan 2013www.agapedesign.itFotos: Julia Rotter
